With his wife, Judy, Robert McNeal founded MPI after his retirement from the FBI where he spent 20 years as a Special Agent, most recently in the Los Angeles Division. In 1994, Daniel McNeal, a former San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputy, joined his parents, adding his expertise to the expanding business. Today MPI provides investigative support to large and small corporations, law firms, professional sports leagues as well as selected individuals, both nationally and internationally.

The employment screening investigations can include driver's history searches, criminal history searches, civil litigation searches, employment and education verification, public filings searches, federal court searches, professional licenses, and Social Security Number verification.
