The R&D Agency was established in 1991 with a focus on providing effective and consistent insurance support services. After spending the previous dozen years investigating fraudulent or exaggerated insurance claims, Don Dunn and his team built on methods tested and improved upon over those years to consistently obtain the information R&D's clients require to mitigate these claims.
Proven methods for claimant profiling and physical surveillance are constantly updated and enhanced, allowing the team at R&D to be responsive and consistently effective.

Services
The R&D Agency is a full-service investigative agency in the Twin Cities. Don Patrick Dunn established the business in 1991 and continues to own and operate the company today. Don has over 40 years of experience gathering and deciphering intelligence for insurance, corporate and legal clients. He began his career as a private investigator in 1979 and has specialized in the insurance fraud field since 1984. The R&D Agency's field investigators are among the best in the industry, each very talented at identifying and pursuing leads.
The R&D Agency has a strong presence in the Midwest Region of the United States including MN, WI, IA, ND, and SD. This allows us to focus on a large, but not too large, coverage area and alleviates the need to call in outside sources to help with an investigation. By limiting our coverage area, we're able to provide timely service in an area we know well and where we have needed resources if needed.
While we have always worked in northern Minnesota, we now have investigators in our Duluth office to better serve our clients in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. These investigators are licensed to work in Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota. The R&D Agency is uniquely positioned to help with claims from the First Report of Injury all the way through to settlement or denial.
Are you sure your claimant's job logs are accurate? Do they appear suspicious? Do you question whether your claimant is claiming to attend appointments and interviews but not really doing so? We can conduct an audit on job logs and determine if these individuals are looking for work as required by law or if they are fabricating these logs to keep their benefits and mileage reimbursements coming.
