Dakota Michaels is the owner and CEO of Dakota Michaels Investigations (DMI) and the MI5 Group. Mr. Michaels has been in the investigative field for over 20 years. He received extensive training in countermeasures, counterintelligence, counter surveillance, and electronic surveillance as an intelligence operative and continued extensive training and education in anti-terrorism, tactical weapons, and covert measures. He has also trained in Forensics, Criminal Profiling, and Crime Scene Investigation.
DMI is a full service investigation agency with several divisions. DMI provides complete services to Insurance Companies, Third Party Administrators, Law Firms, Self-Insured and Self-Administered Companies and the Entertainment Industry, as well as to the General Public. Our Special Investigative Unit (SIU) is deployed into serious matters ranging from homicide, insurance fraud rings and espionage, to corporate takeovers.
The Spy Academy hosts informative workshops throughout the year, designed to teach individuals the nuts and bolts of spy and investigative activities. Prices vary depending on the current workshop available. Workshops held this year will include The Invisible Spy, Live Covert Surveillance, Firearms Training, Spy Game Missions & Ring of Spies, and Executive Protection.
The Missing Children Foundation is a non-profit corporation that was founded to utilize our expertise and investigative skills to recover and retrieve missing and exploited children. Over 2 million children are reported missing yearly and there are many more that are never reported. We have a team of specialists who actually search and rescue these children and return them to their homes or a safe environment. Our investigators are licensed, bonded and state approved to locate these children, recover them and insure a safe return.
