Kentucky Special Investigative Unit

So I needed some investigation done. And I must say I am extremely happy with the work they have done. They went beyond my expectations and did a amazing job and was there for me even after the investigation was over.

My company and I have been working with Kentucky Special Investigative Unit for several months and they have been the epitome of professional and reliable. They have been a positive force in adding security and peace of mind to our operation and would highly recommend.

I have repetitively called the number wanting to speak with someone about a matter. It is listed as 24-hour and rapid response but it goes to a never ending voicemail. I press to speak with someone right away. It appears that a Steve is the only employee of this company and he never answers his phone. There is definitely no rapid-repose available from this firm.

I've hired Mr Thomas on multiple occasions. His professionalism and attention to detail is unrivaled. It took this man one afternoon to do what had taken the police months to do, with better results. Every attorney in town uses Steve for a reason. He's the best.

Steve Thomas, the directors integrity cannot be trusted. He shared intimate details of my case with others. He is not discrete. He is not licensed and he is facing criminal charges for domestic violence and wanton endangerment in Kentucky. I don't see how any evidence he collected could be relevant, useful or unimpeachable. In Kentucky each investigator is licensed and has a card as well as the business. Before you hire ask to see this mans credentials and E&O insurance or better yet call the KY PI board. They will tell you he is not licensed in Kentucky.

I hired Steve many years ago for an investigation on my adulterous wife. I am not a fan of her but she is the mother of my children. Steve and his guys were not at all evasive. She always knew when they were watching her, etc. Fast forward many years. My ex-wife and I are fine, we are on good terms. I don't want anything bad for her as that affects my children.

She sends me screen shots where Steve is blasting her openly on facebook and he is not at all being honest. He was making up things in an already scandalous situation and he was being completely vulgar to her. I hired him for a discrete and confidential investigation, not so that he would publish the details of my marriage on facebook. My ex-wife, her current husband, and lawyer are all up in arms.

This is causing me and my children issues and this is not the way to run an investigation. I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and how it continues to eat away at my pocket as now it has her attorney phoning my attorney for information etc to help her go after him for this ridiculous lack of discretion and professionalism where he says very intrusive and untrue things to her. Hiring this agency was the worst mistake of my life second to marrying this woman.

I called the 800 number and sent e-mail But I am not getting a return contact. I am wondering if this service had went out of business. The phone is a messy web. I press zero hoping to talk to the receptionist but get no one. Very disappointed considering their website says 24 hour service.

Against my better judgement after seeing this loose cannon on 60 Days In, Scott Abell urged me to use KYSIU for an insurance case. At first he was very attentive. Then I could never get ahold of him. Nobody answers this line 24 hours a day. I paid the retainer. I had court today. I never heard back from Mr. Thomas who told me he was the owner and assured me everything would be timely. He has flat out dodged my calls, never returns my calls and did not deliver before court.
