My siblings and I hired Darrin, the chief investigator for North American Investigations, to gather information about suspected elder fraud impacting our family. He was responsive to our needs, gathering the information and background materials and presenting the report that we needed in order to take action. But more importantly, Darrin was sensitive to the emotional stress of the situation.

He was always available to us by phone or email, including on weekends, when he coached us through what to say and not say to our parents and to the suspected perpetrator. This helped us feel safe, above anything else. I really appreciate the work he did and the approach he took with us as clients, and recommend him highly.

Was hired on 9/*/2019 to run a quick report/background check on an individual that had burglarized me. The contract i signed called for only an hour of work for $750. I provided the investigator with the person's cell phone number. We discussed a quick turn around so that we can assess if we can pursue recovery of the stolen items. Time was of issue since the thief would be able to very quickly sell the items that were stolen ( two watches).

It has been over a week to do this one hour of work, without getting any information. I contacted Darrin and expressed my dissatisfaction that i had not been given any information and at this point it would be extremely unlikely that the watches remained in the thief's possession. I requested a refund and he rejected the idea profusely saying he is working on it and under no circumstances will he refund the money. Extremely unreliable and unprofessional stay away
