Investigative Services Corporation (ISC) was founded in 1981 by the former Deputy Chief of Police of the Los Angeles Police Department, Daniel R. Sullivan, in Los Angeles, California. ISC maintains a roster of former high ranking police officials. ISC also maintains agreements for reciprocal services with correspondents in all states and Internationally through a network of police and federal law enforcement contacts.

ISC has been an approved contractor to the F.D.I.C., and a security consultant to the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, amongst other major cities.
