We are a private investigations firm based in Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Maryland, that specializes in litigation support for attorneys and insurance fraud investigations. Ranked "Best Private Investigations Provider" by both The National Law Journal and The Legal Times, we are recognized experts at gathering and analyzing evidence to help build successful legal cases. Our firm has a seventeen-year track record of success, and our team has many more years of experience investigating cases on behalf of attorneys.
The work of private investigators is sometimes portrayed in popular media as unsavory, but that is not how our investigators operate. Rather, we work alongside attorneys and insurance companies to help prosecute or defend litigation cases. We save our clients' money by providing many services that would be more expensive for law firms or special investigations units to handle in-house, such as interviewing and getting declarations from witnesses, serving process, doing surveillance, and finding defendants' assets.
A law firm was working for a business client who was trying to enforce a judgment it had against a foreign nation. The country owned several properties in the Washington, D.C. area which were ostensibly being used for diplomatic purposes. Assets that are being used for diplomatic reasons are generally considered off limits for purposes of collecting judgments, while it is sometimes possible to seize non-diplomatic assets and properties. The law firm wondered if the properties were in fact being used for diplomatic purposes, and they hired us to conduct surveillance to find out.
Our headquarters is based in Arlington, Virginia. We also have satellite offices in downtown Washington, D.C. and in Baltimore, Maryland. Most private investigations can be initiated over the phone or via email, but we are generally willing to meet with new law firm clients at their locations. While walk-ins are discouraged, we can usually meet clients in our Arlington office on the same day and in the other locations within 24 hours.
